This review study discusses curry leaves, including their historical background, morphological properties, chemical composition, and several applications. There are 35 detailed morphological descriptions of the plant's leaves, flowers, and fruit. The chemical profile emphasizes the substantial phytochemical richness of curry leaves, which underpins their diverse biological functions. Curry leaves are investigated for a variety of applications, with an emphasis on their potent antioxidant, medicinal, anticarcinogenic, hepatoprotective, antibacterial, cardioprotective, antiobesity, antihyperlipidemic, antiamnesic, wound-healing, kidney protective, antipyretic, histopathological, and antidiarrheal properties.
