Background : Liver disorders account for about 1/3rd of the cases leading to mortality across the globe. Amongst all liver disorders, decompensated chronic liver disease, alcohol liver disease, alcohol dependence syndrome, infectious etiology and diseases secondary to other causes contribute to most of the liver disease patients. To stage a liver disease, we need to measure the fibrosis undergoing in patient. For measuring liver fibrosis, previously, there were liver biopsy, but in today’s practice, we have non invasive tests like APRI, FIB 4 scores which denotes fibrosis with near accurate values. Here, we would like to study correlation between these important fibroscores and GGT, coagulation profile.
