Introduction: Street vending is a universal aspect, and it existed in India since centuries in a variety of methods historically by street vendors. They sell their goods on a particular weekday, known as ‘Friday Market’. The consumers purchase variety of displayed goods by bargaining prices. They have been designated as “Street Vendors” by Government’s Street Vending Act in 2014; completing ten years. Recently, according to "National-Urban-Livelihood-Mission:2023-24," "Support to Urban Street Vendors" addresses livelihood concern of the urban street vendors.
