Introduction: Cerebral infarction, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage are the three general categories of stroke. Atherosclerosis, which may cause stroke, is linked to hypothyroidism, and acute ischemic stroke is associated with a changed neuroendocrine profile. This study sought to determine how common thyroid hormone alterations were in ischemic stroke patients at a tertiary care facility.
