The purpose of this investigation was to identify the organism that increases the susceptibility of tomatoes to spoiling. The most significant and common disease that infects a variety of fruits and causes destructive and significant losses of fruit commercially is fungus. Therefore, the goal of this study was to isolate and identify fungal pathogens throughout storage, transit, and marketing. A primary element impeding the commercial worth of horticultural products is their vulnerability to infections after harvest. Pineapple, oranges, and tomatoes are no different. The aforementioned plant items, such as fruits and vegetables, have been linked to a number of ailments brought on by various infections. The various pathogens found in fruits must be understood in order to successfully prevent post-harvest illnesses of plants. Novel approaches to managing post-harvest diseases have been made possible by recent developments in plant pathology. Because of increased study in this field and increasing global awareness of the harmful effects of chemical fungicides, biological control and the use of botanicals for disease management have also gained relevance.
