Animal testing has limitations and presents ethical questions despite its significance. The goal of this paper is to give a general overview of the background, procedures, and guidelines utilized in animal toxicity testing, together with an analysis of the difficulties and constraints involved. We also talk about the innovations and future paths that toxicity testing will take, such as the application of computational models and in vitro methods.
