This article presents ideas for improving innovative mechanisms based on foreign experience in attracting students of higher educational institutions to physical education and sports. Methods for developing the physical abilities of students and involving them in sports based on the use of mobile applications and educational technologies (“coaching, Bloom’s taxonomy”) in extracurricular activities are shown.
