Abstract

Introduction: The popularity of e-cigarettes and vaping has raised concerns for many people, particularly because of their potential effects on lung health. Objective: This current study seeks to explore the relationships between e-cigarette and vaping use and lung diseases, aiming to appraise the risk factors associated with the use of these products. Results: The research analysis shows that e-cigs/vapor users have a higher incidence of respiratory and other chronic complaints and diseases than non-users. Data specifically suggests that the prevalence of chronic bronchitis and asthma exacerbations is greater among vapers at a significance level of p < 0.01. Discussion: Therefore, the possibility of tissue injury as a result of e cigarette and vaping use points out the need for public health ways and policies to avoid further harm to people especially vulnerable groups such as adolescents or young adults. Conclusion: It is critical to comprehend the health risks posed by e cigarettes and vaping. Equally crucial is the need to conduct more investigations to help shape appropriate public health strategies and measures.
