For the present investigation samples of different varieties/germplasm of Moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.) were procured from different parts of Uttar Pradesh including vegetable farm of the Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology Kumarganj, Ayodhya, which was sown in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). From this study, physical constituents like length of pod (32.44-123.09 cm), number of seeds per pod (14.60-20.00) and weight of pod (6.26-25.52 g) were estimated properly. Biochemical parameters for leaves like total sugars (34.68-42.49 mg/100g), reducing sugars (12.34-14.43 mg/100g) and non-reducing sugar (22.48-27.44 mg/100g) were estimated. On the basis of overall observation, variety PKM-2 was found superior in both physical and biochemical parameters followed by germplasm MO-4. However, all other selected Moringa varieties / germplasm contain basic nutrients within the range of cultivable Moringa varieties / germplasm. The anti-nutritional contents are also within their limits of Moringa leaves / pods. Therefore, all those cultivars could be recommended for cultivation from nutritional point of view.
