Abstract

Cocrystallization, an emerging field at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, and pharmaceuticals, has garnered significant attention due to its potential applications in enhancing drug solubility, improving material properties, and enabling novel chemical syntheses. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the fundamentals, recent advances, and applications of cocrystallization. We delve into the basic principles of cocrystallization, exploring the key components and various methodologies employed in this process. Recent developments in cocrystallization research, including innovative techniques and analytical tools, are discussed to highlight the dynamic nature of the field.
