The Chandipura virus (CHPV) belongs to the Rhabdoviridae family and is a major public health issue, especially in India, because of its link to encephalitis and the high death rates seen in children. This article brings together the latest information on the virus's progression, symptoms, and treatment approaches, with the goal of identifying areas where knowledge is lacking and proposing paths for future research to improve the management and prevention of CHPV infections.
