This study documented wells around Lenyenye in the Greater Tzaneen Municipality as potential resources to address water scarcity and promote sustainable use. Employing a cross sectional research design, data were collected using a questionnaire administered to a sample of 310 respondents. The sample was drawn from six local municipality areas using multi stage sampling techniques. The questionnaire was distributed via simple random sampling to household heads: 55 questionnaires were given to each of two randomly selected communities, while three other communities received 45 each, totaling 310 questionnaires.
