Background: The installation of a permanent pacemaker is merely the beginning of the patient's lifelong therapy for heart block and bradyarrhythmia. Therefore, self-care management is crucial for enhancing daily living activities and patient adherence to their prescribed regimen. Aim: the study aimed to evaluate the effect of self-care management program on permanent pacemaker patients' adherence to care practices and daily activities. Design: A quasi-experimental study design (pre and post-test) was used in this study. Sample: A purposive sample of 94 patients with permanent pacemaker that were available within 6 months was selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.
