Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of early measles vaccination in infants under nine months of age and its impact on immunogenicity. Place of Study: The research was conducted at the Department of Pediatrics, Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex, Nowshera, Pakistan. Methods and Materials: A prospective cohort study involving 400 newborns was conducted, considering demographic characteristics, medical history, and informed consent. Measles vaccination was administered according to international standards, with subsequent doses following the regular immunization schedule. Adverse reactions were monitored, and immunogenicity was assessed using standardized techniques. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. Results: The study revealed a robust and sustained immune response following early measles vaccination, as evidenced by progressive elevation in antibody titers over time. Immunogenicity was consistent across age groups, indicating efficacy irrespective of age. Minimal adverse reactions were observed, underscoring the safety profile of early vaccination. Conclusion: Early measles vaccination in infants under nine months demonstrated effectiveness in eliciting strong and long-lasting immune responses. The findings support the viability and acceptability of early measles immunization as a preventive measure. This research contributes valuable insights to measles prevention strategies, guiding evidence-based vaccination policies and efforts to achieve high vaccination coverage, thus aiding in global measles control and protecting vulnerable populations.
