This study was carried out to investigate the cultivar identification of some grape cultivated in Duhok region using SSR (simple sequence repeat) DNA markers. Identification the cultivars is often difficult especially in the early stage of plant age and closely related cultivars, thus the DNA fingerprinting resolve the cultivars distinguish which are not influenced by the environment and easy detecting methods
