Abstract

Modern adhesives typically include an acidic conditioner, dentin primer, and bonding resin, with a trend toward simplification for universality in dental restorations.1 New adhesive systems aim to enhance bond strength and durability, with the challenge of selecting the best adhesive system due to the wide variety available.2 Key component HEMA has been used to improve wettability since the 1970s, but recently HEMA-free systems have been developed to address certain issues.3
