Hypertension is principal cause of cardiovascular diseases around the globe. Biologically active peptides which act as ACE-I inhibitors likely used to control hypertension as synthetic drugs. These biologically active peptides play an important role in controlling metabolic processes.various studies show that during gastrointestinal digestion of various types of plants and animal food release some small peptides which have bio-functional properties. These peptides prove potential in pharmaceutical applications like antihypertensive, antioxidatives, antidiabetic, anticancer. These peptides from different types of food could be a better alternative of synthetic medicines. Plants based antihypertensive peptides can be obtained by various techniques like solvent extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation.ACE-I inhibitory peptides have gastrointestinal stability and reach in cardiovascular system to reduce blood pressure.Soybean is one of the most important food source have 36-56% proteins. This study shows that soymik(an aqueous extraction of soybean seeds) and its fermented products are good source of bioactive peptides. Following peptides were isolate from soymilk. (Val-Pro-Pro),(Ile-Pro-Pro), (Ala-Tyr-Phe-Pro),(Ala-His-Ile-Asn-Val-Gly-Lys), (Tyr-Val-Trp-Lys), (Ala-Tyr Phe-Tyr),( Ala-Tyr-Phe-Pro-Glu),(His-His-Leu),(Val-Leu-Ile-Val-Pro) (Pro-Gly-Thr-Ala-Val-Phe-Lys),(Val-Ala-His-Ile-Asn-Val-Gly-Lys.
