Abstract
Since their discovery in the early 1980s, strains of E. coli have been associated with a wide variety of illnesses in both animals and humans. Hemorrhagic colitis, diarrhea, and hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) have all been linked to E. coli 0157:H7 infections in humans, affecting 2-7% of individuals. our study aimed to shed the light on this correlation.
