Abstract

Introduction. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “... intestinal helminthiasis ranks second among parasites after diarrhea, their frequency of occurrence is more than 3.5 billion cases per year, the risk group for infection with helminthiases includes children aged 5-14 years, in different countries, the incidence of geohelminthiasis in children under 17 years of age ranges from 27% (India), 6-7% (Indonesia, China, Nigeria), to 2-3% (Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania and the Philippines.
