Abstract

Introduction This research aimed to apply portable force plates to enhance football training at Multan Sports Complex. Method Thirty male football players, between the age of 18 and 35 years, were selected and randomly placed in the portable force plate group or a conventional training group. The participants in this study were subjects of the intervention group who received a 12-week force plate training program consisting of training sessions 3 4 times a week to enhance specific movement characteristics. Result Conclusion Statistical analysis revealed differences in the VHJT and FMS scores between the two groups In addition, ACSI scores for the intervention group were also higher than that of the control group. The explosive power, neuromuscular coordination, and movement efficiency were higher in the intervention group than in the control group. In light of the outcome of the study, it was clear to suggest that the inclusion of force plates particularly portable ones into football training can indeed help in the improvement of athletic performance and reduction of risks commonly incurred during training and eventually games hence, supporting football training and hence individualized coaching with scientific evidence.
