Bacteriocin components are proteinaceous or peptide toxins are which produced by various bacteria and it involved in inhibit the growth of similar or closely related bacteria. In such cases, it kills or control the development of yeast and mold. The current research involved in synthesis of bacteriocin from some other bacteria except lactic acid bacteria and find its application in various fields specifically, food industries use this component for broad spectrum antibiotic activity. In this study, bacteriocin component synthesized from Bacillus thuringiensis and used against of few pathogens namely, E.coli, Pseudomonas auroginosa and Staphylococcus aureus which are isolated from urinary tract infected person. The separated microbial extract were applied in various concentrations and it showed high level of zone of inhibition on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas auroginosa in the range of 24mm and 23mm, respectively. The microbial extract were applied to few fruits and vegetables for the identification of its preservative activity. When it compared with control, the test materials having long life. It prove that, bacteriocin which is separated from Bacillus thuringiensis will control the development of contaminate producing microorganisms in the fruits and vegetables.
