Abstract

Background: Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is an emerging infectious disease that is prevalent worldwide. It primarily affects toddlers, and there is currently no effective vaccine or specific treatment available for HFMD. Outbreaks of HFMD commonly occur in nurseries, playgroups, and schools. Caretakers play a role in the well-being of children. It is crucial to have accurate information about their knowledge, attitude, health beliefs, and preventive practices regarding HFMD due to persistence in Terengganu, Malaysia.
