Background: Pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) remains a significant global health challenge, particularly in low-income and middle- income countries. The relationship between nutrition and PTB is critical, as malnutrition exacerbates the disease's severity and hampers recovery. This study investigates the effects of Spirulina platensis, Selenium, Calcium, and Vitamin D3 supplementation on the Body Mass Index (BMI) of PTB patients. The findings indicate that targeted nutritional interventions can significantly enhance BMI and overall health outcomes, underscoring the need for integrated nutritional support in PTB management.
