The socio-economic status of a country is not only based on income of people of a country, it is also a complex existence of health status besides other factors such as education, employment etc. A country can also be influenced by its people's good or bad health practices. This study aims at discovering the influence of health care literacy on the socio-economic growth of the Santal tribe in the Mayurbhanj district with the help of a structured questionnaire.
