Abstract
Background: This study investigated the effects of diabetes (T2DM) on the quality of life (QoL) of adult diabetic patients in order to get more insight into the effects of medication. It also examined relationships between QoL and certain clinical indicators, such as BMI, fasting blood glucose, HbA1c levels, length of DM, complications, and therapy utilized, as well as sociodemographic characteristics including gender, age, education, and professional activities. Aim: The purpose of the current study was to evaluate and compare the safety profiles of glimepiride and vildagliptin when taken with metformin in individuals with type 2 diabetic mellitus.
