The study evaluated the impact of organic (Vermicompost, Farmyard manure) and inorganic fertilizer (NPK Chemical fertilizer) fertilizers on seed germination and seedling growth of Amaranthus tricolor and Coriandrum sativum. Seed germination, root and shoot length, biomass, vigour index and chlorophyll content were measured to determine the effectiveness of different treatments. The results showed that vermicompost significantly enhanced germination speed, root, shoot length, biomass accumulation and chlorophyll content making it the most effective treatment. NPK fertilizer also improved the growth but was slightly less effective than vermicompost.
