Abstract

Background: Social maturity is a key indicator of a child’s readiness for personal and social responsibility. The educational environment, whether in government or private schools, may influence the development of social maturity. This study aims to compare the social maturity of children aged 10-15 years attending government and private schools in Chengalpattu district.
