Abstract

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, is an essential nursing skill for nurses, as it can significantly impact patient outcomes in emergency situations. Simulated learning with debriefing is an effective method to enhance CPR training.1 This systematic review aims to evaluate the existing literature to determine the effect of oral debriefing combined with simulated learning on CPR skill, and self – efficacy among nurses2. A comprehensive search of electronic databases was conducted, and relevant studies published up to September 2024 were included. The review synthesized and analyzed the findings of eligible studies to provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of this training methods on nurses’ CPR – related outcome. This review was to identify, appraise and synthesize the best available evidence for the effectiveness of debriefing as it relates to simulation – based learning for health professionals.
