Development of technology and existence of internet facilitate incredible development in every business through including health care. There is a rapid change in health care and pharmaceutical business. It moved from traditional to modern as online pharmacy also known as e-pharmacy. Online pharmacy is a method of selling and distributing medicines to the door steps of the customers. This research mainly focuses on the factors influencing adoption and acceptance of online pharmacies. It is identified that factors like effort expectancy, performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, price value, buyer’s habits, exogenous factors, situational factors, perceived risk, trust, health literacy of the consumers, previous online shopping experiences are influencing. Still certain limitations like frauds and risk from illegal sites. To overcome these limitations companies must build confidence through promotional campaigns, have a return policy of unused medicines before expiry.
