Abstract

This case report is about a 52-year-old diabetic woman who has a non-healing ulcer on her below-knee amputation stump. Despite the initial surgery and debridement, the wound remained. An antibioma, or chronic abscess, was discovered within the deep tissue during the examination. Successful healing was achieved after the antibioma was surgically removed and wounds were managed properly with suitable antibiotics. The instance emphasizes the necessity of examining antibioma as a possible cause of non-healing wounds, particularly following infection operations.
