Turmeric, a member of the ginger family and popularly known as the Golden Spice, has been used for medicinal purposes for approximately 4000 years around the world. Apart from its usage in various industries such as food, cosmetic and the medical field as a traditional remedy, it has also been used in the dentistry due to its pharmaceutical properties. This article aims to emphasize on the vast range of applications of Turmeric in the discipline of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.
