Objectives: The objective of this study was to examine changes in the posterior corneal surface following laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) or photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) using Scheimpflug corneal topography. Methods: This prospective comparative study was conducted over two years (2017 2019) at the Lasik Scientific Group Center. We included patients over 18 years of age who had stable vision prescriptions, defined as a refractive change of no more than ±0.5 diopters over the previous 12 months. Each patient underwent a thorough evaluation to determine which laser surgery— LASIK or PRK—was appropriate for them.
