Abstract

This review article emphasizes the importance of ongoing research on working pregnant women and the potential for future breakthroughs that can enhance our understanding and impact their health and well-being. It highlights the significance of addressing challenges faced by pregnant women in academia for gender equity, diversity, and institutional well-being. The article also emphasizes the benefits of supporting pregnant academics, such as fostering positive role models and enhancing institutional reputation. By delving into the personal experiences of pregnant workers and considering both individual and social aspects, researchers and professionals can gain valuable insights to better support pregnant employees in the workplace.
