Introduction: The rice mill industry generates significant wastewater containing high levels of organic compounds and nutrients, posing environmental challenges if not properly treated. Biological remediation methods using Pichia pastoris have gained attention for efficiently degrading organic compounds in rice mill wastewater. Optimization of these biological approaches can enhance treatment efficiency by tailoring factors such as pH, temperature, and nutrient concentrations.
