Background: Colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly occurring cancers in men and women worldwide as well as one of the most common of death from cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate about the clinicopathological, biological and molecular features of colorectal cancer patients. Patients and Methods: Our retrospective descriptive study was conducted at the level of oncology department of Bouira Hospital over 2 years (January 2016– Decembre 2017). Results: A total of 86 patients (43 male, 43 female) with mean age of 58.87 years were included in this study. Colon was the most common site involved (70, 93%). The commonest histological type was adenocarcinoma (91, 9%), followed by mucinous carcinoma (6, 97%). Abdominal pain and constipation were the main involved clinical signs. Most patient presented with stage IV (27,9 %). Liver was the most common matastasic site. CEA was elevated in 51, 2 %, while Ca 19-9 was elevated in 31,4% in preoperatoire evaluation. The chemotherapy was the main treatment for this type of cancer. Conclusion: Most of the patients were older adults with advanced colon cancer and a dominance of adenocarcinoma as the histological type. Early diagnosis of colorectal result in better management, prognosis and survival.
