Abstract

Gambling tourism has become a popular form of tourism across the world, with several countries legalizing and regulating gambling activities. India, however, is yet to make significant strides in this industry. This study aims to compare the gambling tourism models of India with thoseof other world markets. The study will begin by providing a brief overview of the gambling tourism industry, followed by a detailed analysis of the models employed by different countries. The research will also analyze the factors that have led to the growth of the gambling tourism industry in various countries, including the legal and regulatory frameworks, taxation policies, marketing strategies, and cultural factors. Finally, the study will provide recommendations for theIndian government on how to develop a successful gambling tourism model that can rival thoseof other world markets.
