This paper presents a comparative analysis of pond water and ground water quality in the industrial zone of Paradeep, a port city in Odisha. Water samples from four different locations were collected during different seasons and analyzed for various physicochemical characteristics. The findings reveal high concentrations of certain parameters in both water samples, indicating significant pollution. The study recommends extending the research to cover more years for a comprehensive assessment of water quality.
