Abstract

Background: Ovarian carcinomas is a varied category of neoplasms, are composed of several entities with different risk factors, precursor lesions, an etiology, patterns of spread, molecular profiles, clinical outcomes, and responses to chemotherapy. In decidualized clinical decision-making requires knowledge of the histologic subtype and the associated molecular characteristics. MMP play a number of additional roles in cancer they influence the proliferation, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, and intracellular activities in the nucleus of cancer cells. The MMPs are produced at the cell surface rather than being secreted. MMP14 is a member of the membrane and the Osteopotin OPN plays a significant role in carcinogenesis.
