Abstract

The core objective of this security research is to ensure that healthcare software (HS) is secure when operating on a fully functional quantum computer. Developers are constantly coming up with innovative methods to maintain usability while maximizing security. The degree of security is not as high as it should be despite numerous efforts made in this area by developers and security specialists. It is also crucial to conduct additional research on the best methods for enhancing and assessing the security of healthcare technologies. In the realm of eHealth data security, the need for robust encryption techniques is paramount, especially in cloud environments where sensitive medical information is stored and transmitted. This paper presents a novel approach to enhancing the security of eHealth data in the cloud through the integration of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) of hash function and Triple Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). QKD offers a theoretically unbreakable method of key distribution, while Triple AES provides strong encryption for data transmission. By combining these technologies, the proposed system aims to mitigate the vulnerabilities associated with traditional encryption methods and bolster the protection of eHealth data against unauthorized access and cyber threats. This research contributes to the advancement of secure healthcare data management in cloud environments, paving the way for more resilient and privacy-preserving systems in the eHealth domain.
