Abstract

Obesity increases the risk of cardiovascular disease due to associated dyslipidaemia, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and sleep disorders. Independent to other cardiovascular risk factors, obesity leads to increase in morbidity and mortality related to the cardiovascular disease.
