Pulses are having a number of constraints in their production as compared to their potential in India. Green gram is an important pulse crop of the country after chickpea and pigeon pea lacks optimum fertilizer management, which leads in reduced growth and yield. The current study aimed to study the effects of different levels of potassium and stress mitigating chemicals application on growth, yield attributes, yieldand quality of mungbean. A field study on “Effect of Potassium and Stress Mitigating Chemicals on Growth and Yield of Mungbean {Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek} was conducted at Research Farm, School of Agriculture, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur during kharif of 2023. The experiment was laid out in a factorial design with three replications and treatments comprising four levels of potassium (Control, 20, 30 and 40 kg k ha-1) and four levels of stress mitigating chemicals (Control, KNO3 @ 100 ppm, TGA @ 100 ppm and kintein @ 50 ppm). The experimental results showed that the growth and yield of mungbean were significantly increased due to application of potassium and stress mitigating chemical. The maximum plant height, dry matter accumulation, number of branches plant-1, number of pods plant-1, number of seeds pod-1, seed yield, straw yield and biological yield, nutrient uptake and protein content of the mungbean was obtained with the application of potassium @ 30 kg ha-1 which was significantly superior as compared to control and application of potassium @ 20 kg ha-1 at par with potassium @ 40 kg ha-1. Results further showed that foliar spray of TGA (thioglycolic acid) @ 100 ppm or kinetin @ 50 ppm recorded highest plant height, dry matter accumulation, number of branches plant-1, number of pods plant-1 number of seeds pod-1, seed yield, straw yield and biological yield growth attributes, yield attributes, yield and quaility par interval of mungbean as compared to rest of the treatments of potassium and stress mitigating chemicals.
