The research study titled Knowledge and Attitude of Risky Sexual Behaviour in Evbuodia Community, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State investigates youths’ understanding and attitudes towards risky sexual behaviours, as well as the prevalence of such behaviours in the community. Using a survey design, data was collected from a sample of 110 youths selected from a population of 300 through the Taro Yamane formula. The instrument’s validity was established through face and content validity, while reliability was confirmed using the test-retest method with respondents from a different community (Ogba). Findings revealed that the majority of youths in Evbuodia have a high level of knowledge about risky sexual behaviours. However, despite this awareness, risky sexual practices are still prevalent, mainly due to poverty, ignorance, and the lure of financial gain. This indicates a gap between knowledge and behaviour. Based on these findings, the study recommends several interventions. Parents should serve as positive role models in matters of sexuality by promoting religious and moral values. Youths are encouraged to manage their sexual behaviours responsibly. Health practitioners should increase educational efforts, particularly targeting in-school adolescents, by organizing seminars on the consequences of risky sexual behaviours. Additionally, the government should implement socio-economic policies that provide educational support to youths from low-income families, reducing their vulnerability. Lastly, both governmental and non-governmental organizations should contribute to raising awareness about the dangers of risky sexual behaviours to support youth development and well-being
