The Indian state of Maharashtra contains the city of Amravati. Situated in the Amravati district of Maharashtra, this metropolitan area ranks seventh in terms of population. Among the lakes and damp in the area are the well-known Simbhora (Morshi) damp, Pohara Lake (Malkhed), Chatri Lake, and Wadali Lake. Our goal is to assess the Wadali Lake water quality. We took several water samples from Wadali Lake for this investigation. Several physical and chemical parameters are determined experimentally in the current work. The experiment was conducted from January to April of 2016. The temperature, pH, BOD, DO, and other physico-chemical parameters were recorded, and the results show that the values are within the standard permissible range. The majority of the parameters in the current study are observed within the IS and WHO's prescribed limits. At least from this initial investigation, it is evident that the lake is a good source of water for drinking and for creating a heathery habitat that supports a diverse range of wildlife.
