Background: TKR is a common surgical procedure performed to treat severe knee joint diseases and the primary goal of the intervention is to decrease the patient’s pain and increase his/her mobility. The present research work is a descriptive study that aimed to look into the data of one hundred patients who had undergone TKR. Objectives: this study is to evaluate the therapeutic outcomes and complications of Total Knee Replacement in 100 patients at MMC Materials & Methods: from January 2020 to December 2022 this study used in this investigation was a cross-sectional case analysis of 100 patients who have been administered TKR. Patients’ data were obtained from health records that consist of demographic information, preoperative diagnosis, type of surgery, postoperative complications, and outcomes at follow-up. The functional status of the patients was assessed by measuring their Knee Society Score (KSS). Results: The participants consisted of 55 male and 45 females aged 45-80 years. Some of the surgery indications included; osteoarthritis 60% rheumatoid arthritis 15% traumatic arthritis 10% and other 15%. The postoperative complications included infection in 2 patients, dislocation in 3 patients, DVT in 1 patient and periprosthetic fracture in 1 patient. KSS outcomes according to the patients were 60% excellent, 25% good, 10% fair, and 5% poor. The level of satisfaction among the patients was also satisfactory as 90% of the patients complained of positive outcomes. Conclusion: Total Knee Replacement can help in reducing pain and enhancing the functional status in patients with severe knee pathology with relatively low risk of complications. Most of the patients reported improved quality of life after the procedure, which could be regarded as the procedure’s success. Keywords: TKR, therapeutic, Risks, Knee Joint
