This study aimed to explore the microbial contributions to neurological complications arising from systemic infections, focusing on the incidence, severity, and associated microbial agents. We conducted a retrospective observational analysis of 400 patients with systemic infections, categorizing infections into bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic types. Major findings include a significantly higher incidence of neurological complications in patients with bacterial sepsis (57%) compared to those with viral (27%), fungal (10%), or parasitic infections (6.7%).
