Abstract

Background:A student's understanding of various musical traditions and practices is enhanced by the integration of cultural education into piano instruction. Traditional music education, particularly piano instruction, has long been acknowledged for its value in fostering critical thinking and creative thinking. The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resources has opened up new and exciting opportunities for improving and upgrading piano education. Objective:The aim of this study is to examine how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resources work together to support different piano teaching approaches. It looks at how using these tools may raise student engagement and creative levels while also enhancing piano instruction. The study also looks at how using AI and digital resources into cultural education improves students' understanding of the rich history of music throughout the world. Method:In this research, two groups of piano students were compared: one trained conventionally, and the other using an intelligent piano teaching system that incorporates cultural education elements. The study assessments measured participants' theoretical understanding, practical ability, and performance. Researchers collected data through conversations and assessments. Result:Practical piano abilities and the capacity to identify musical patterns and rhythm were improved through intelligent piano training techniques. The AI-guided training group, which included cultural education components, outperformed the control group across overall performance. Conclusion:The importance of promoting student engagement, individual expression, and learning efficiency is emphasized, highlighting the usefulness of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resources in piano instruction. Through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resources, cultural education can be included into piano instruction to provide a more inclusive, culturally rich and accessible learning environment for students of all backgrounds and ability levels.
