Abstract
An efficient and straightforward reaction of 7 hydroxy-4H-chromenes promoted by p-Toluene sulfonic acid has been studied. The deivatives of novel 7hydroxy-4H-chromenes were prepared with pyrazole aldehyde, malononitrile and resorcinol in ethanol. The outcomes of products were good yields under milder conditions and charecterized by NMR, FT-infrared spectrum and high resolution mass spectrum.
