The success of the entire educational process is determined by the essential component of a nation's education system, which is teacher education. Education is a potent tool for creating opportunity. Education shapes society and advances the country. But the instructor is the one who makes it feasible for it to occur. The future workforce consists of the pupils. Teachers prepare their students so that they may use their education to influence society for the better. However, this is only feasible if the instructor possesses sufficient ability to instruct others. The teacher education program provides instructors with the necessary knowledge and abilities to effectively facilitate transformation in their pupils. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is the regulatory agency that oversees all elements of teacher education, including B.Ed., M.Ed., and Integrated B.A./B.Sc./B.Ed. In accordance with its regulations, NCTE makes the two-year B.Ed. program, a crucial component of teacher education. As a result, the formerly one-year B.Ed. programme has been extended by one year at all Indian educational institutions that provide it. The researcher has attempted to examine how trainees perceive the new B.Ed course structure in this work. The researcher conducted a brief investigation using 200 sample trainees. Their differing responses are shown in the outcome.
