Pharmacoepidemiology of Antibiotics: An Investigation of Current Practices in Goat Farming in Mamou, Guinea

Abstract
The management of animal health and the use of antibiotics in farming is a critically important issue. The aim of the research is to evaluate current antibiotic usage practices in goat farming in Guinea, in order to understand their impact on antimicrobial resistance and animal health management. Interviews were conducted with veterinarians and local farmers, and field observations were made. The study collected data on common diseases, veterinary practices, antibiotic usage, and the challenges faced by farmers in managing animal health.
