Introduction:-. Tobacco uses among health care personnel, such as medical student, is an important public health issue. Tobacco chewing is prevalent, whereas smoking is more common. Forms of smokeless tobacco include pan, pan-masala or gutkha and mishri. whereas smoking tobacco include cigarettes, hukkah & beedi. It is important to understand the factors affecting tobacco use among medical students and to know whether medical students perceive tobacco use as a public health problem. Aim :- To assess prevalence and pattern of tobacco related habits in the students of a teaching medical college in Lucknow city.
